Annual General Meeting
May 19, 2021
Due to COVID-19, the 2020 Annual General Meeting had to be postponed in May 2020.
The District and Teachers' Bargaining Unit AGMs will take place virtually on October 29, 2020 starting at 4:30 pm. Details will be emailed to Members.
The 2019-20 was NOT an election year. The main reason we need an AGM is for Members to pass a Budget. The District and TBU budgets proposals and other AGM meeting materials can be found here.
The Constitution and Bylaws that govern our Teachers' Bargaining Unit can only be amended by the Members at a General Meeting. The Constitution and Bylaws can be found below.
The Wib Mayor Award is presented at the AGM to a Teacher who is involved in OSSTF committees or councils and who is distinguished in their subject field. It also recognizes Teachers who have taken leaderships roles with respect to professional development in their field.
The recipient of the Wib Mayor Award in 2019 was Rebecca Dillon.
There will be no Wib Mayor Award given in 2020 due to COVID-19.
There are other District Awards. Please go to the District page for more information.
