District + TBU AGM 2025
It is at the AGM that our annual Budget is set and changes can be made to our Constitution and Bylaws. Also, there are District and TBU Awards presented at the AGM. This year is also an Election year. More information coming soon!
District & TBU Award Descriptions
Each year at our District AGM, a number of awards are presented to Members. This year, nominations are due to the District Office on April 9 at 4:00 pm.
The nomination forms for the following District and TBU Awards can be found below this section for download.
Community Builder Award
- A member who has made outstanding contributions to their community outside of the immediate school community.
Fearless Award
- A member who has displayed a fearless attitude with respect to standing up for themselves, their colleagues or the Collective Agreement.
Bill Moore Award
- A member of the District who has contributed a great deal to OSSTF.
Award of Merit
- A member who has rendered meritorious and outstanding service to the OSSTF at the provincial district/bargaining unit level, or at both the district/bargaining unit and provincial levels.
TBU Wib Mayor Award
- A Teacher who has served on an OSSTF Limestone District 27 committee and/or Provincial OSSTF committee for more than one school year. They must have distinguished themselves in their subject field and have contributed to the professional development of teachers in their subject field or related areas through committee participation or a leadership role within their school.
